Artemide has reissued six of its most enduring design icons in a single, saturated hue – and the Ruby Red Collection is arriving in Australia later this year.
Developed in collaboration with Danese Milano, the limited edition reinterprets familiar forms through a deep, glossy red with the richness of bordeaux. It’s colour used as a design tool: the red renews each piece’s identity and intensifies its relationship with the space around it, with reflected and diffused light lending well-known shapes a new depth and expressive presence.
The collection spans table, floor, and wall: the Nesso and Nessino table lamps, the Dalù table lamp, the Tolomeo table lamp, the Ilio floor lamp, and the Teti ceiling and wall lamp. Design objects of different functions united by a shared identity, defined by colour and by their ability to activate a room.
