Part of a special collaboration between Artemide and Danese Milano, the Ilio Ruby Red Collection floor lamp presents Ernesto Gismondi's exercise in geometric essentialism through a bold, contemporary lens. The Ruby Red Collection reinterprets a series of design icons in a limited edition defined by a single, saturated hue: a deep, glossy red with the richness of bordeaux that intensifies each object's relationship with its surroundings. Stripped to its bare essentials, the Ilio's slim cylindrical body in lacquered aluminium houses a powerful, energy-efficient LED that casts a strong yet pleasant upward light. An integrated dimmer allows brightness to be adjusted to suit the moment. In Ruby Red, the Ilio's verticality is reinforced, its proportions reading as an architectural element that structures the space around it.
