Designed by Bruno Munari, the Falkland Suspension takes on a spontaneous shape formed by opposing forces, the tension of a stretched tube of finely woven fabric against the weight of seven metal rings of varying size. This interplay draws soft, irregular curves along its length, giving each lamp a distinct silhouette. A single light bulb and aluminium reflector illuminate the fabric from within, casting a warm glow through its folds. A sculptural piece suited to open, high-ceilinged spaces, the Falkland Suspension is available in three sizes. Part of the Artemide Design Collection.
