The Discovery Floor lamp by Ernesto Gismondi reduces light to its essence. An innovative emitting surface, enclosed by a fine black frame, becomes the only element that makes up the lamp. When switched off, it is unobtrusive and seemingly absent, its volume only revealed once illuminated. Re-proportioned from the Discovery suspension versions, the floor lamp leans freely against the wall at an angle, settling into a room with ease. The result is at once minimal and theatrical, with light that can change the character of a space. Discovery Floor is available in three versions: Integralis, RGBW coloured light and Tuneable White. A design by Artemide co-founder Ernesto Gismondi, it reflects the brand's long-standing pursuit of innovation through pure, reductive form. Made in Italy by Artemide.
