Awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 2018, the Discovery Ceiling/Wall Light is an exercise in visual restraint. Unobtrusive and seemingly absent when off, its volume is only revealed once illuminated, as LEDs set within the outer rim inject light into a central diffuser surface. Artemide's patented optical solution delivers a precise light output designed for visual comfort. Mounted on the ceiling or wall, the slim form reads as a quiet plane of light, well suited to interiors where the fitting itself should recede. The Discovery Ceiling/Wall Light is offered in a choice of finishes. A design by Artemide co-founder Ernesto Gismondi, Discovery reflects the brand's long-standing pursuit of innovation through pure, reductive form. Made in Italy by Artemide.
